
Meet the Therapists
Sybil
Sybil is the owner of Readology Clinic, LLC, and has Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist Certification through the Center For Effective Reading Instruction (CERI). Sybil obtained her Bachelor of Science from NC State University and Middle Grades Teaching Graduate Certificate from Appalachian State University. Sybil also supervises trainees who are completing coursework required to obtain certification. Helping students overcome their learning difficulties using effective reading instruction and working with the next generation of structured literacy professionals is her passion!

Laura

Laura has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, a Masters degree with a Reading Specialist certification from Shippensburg University, and is CERI certified as a Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist. Laura has spent 20 years as a teacher in public education and worked with well over 400 students. However, as a parent of a struggling reader, she found herself overwhelmed and floundering to help her own child. Structured Literacy gave her son back his confidence. She wants to help you and your family have those same successes! Since Laura has been on both the parent and teacher side, she has a unique perspective on how to help your family.
Lauren
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Science from University of California, Irvine, a Master's degree in Bilingual Education (Spanish & English) from Loyola Marymount University, and is CERI certified as a Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist. With over a decade of experience in education, Lauren loves to teach reading and brings great energy to her lessons! One of her favorite parts of teaching is building relationships with students and seeing their confidence grow as they progress through their reading journey.

Serenity

Serenity has a Bachelor of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Indiana University Bloomington and is a CERI certified Structured Literacy/Dyslexia Specialist. She is currently working toward her master’s in Speech-Language Pathology. Serenity believes learning should be joyful and confidence building. She loves working with students and families to make reading, writing, and communication feel fun and achievable. Her goal is to meet each learner where they are, celebrate progress along the way, and help every child discover their strengths both in and out of the classroom.
